GT Energy Day
Georgia Tech Energy Day brings together representatives from academia, government, and industry to accelerate transformational energy research through advancements in systems, technologies, and their enabling components. Georgia Tech Energy Day provides an opportunity for key stakeholders to interact with Georgia Tech researchers who are pioneering work in this critical field. The focus areas of the event are Energy Storage, Solar Energy Conversion, and E-Fuels and Chemicals.
Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Week
Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Action and Awareness Week invites universities around the world to host events that increase awareness of the SDGs, showcase the work they’re doing, and encourage action. Georgia Tech SDG Week encourages partners around campus to organize and host SDG-focused events (such as workshops, service projects, or conversation panels) on our own campus to help showcase Georgia Tech’s impact.


Southeastern Energy Conference
The energy landscape is evolving faster than ever, shaping the way we live, work, and connect. From groundbreaking technologies to global challenges, energy remains at the core of progress. The 2026 Southeastern Energy Conference will bring together thought leaders, innovators, and visionaries to explore the future of energy — and the possibilities that lie ahead.
EnergyHack @ GT is a hackathon designed to bring together passionate students to develop solutions addressing the critical challenges in the energy industry. Over the course of 36 hours, participants will collaborate in teams to brainstorm, design, and prototype projects (for example, AI/ML projects, web-based tools, mobile applications, etc.) that promote sustainable practices based on diverse problem statements.


Hosted by GTRI, this daylong event will facilitate collaboration, education, and innovation in AI security, plus inform the development and deployment of more secure AI-enabled systems. Learn more as it becomes available on the website.
